In the Pakistani province of Sindh found a new oil and gas field
On May 14, the Pakistani Oil and Gas development company made an official announcement at a stock exchange in Karachi (Sindh province) that it discovered a new oil and gas field.
According to the Pakistani Dawn news agency, the company was drilling in the Mohammad Khan region in Sindh province. At a depth of 2676 meters, Pakistani oil workers discovered a small field, the daily production volume of which will be 120 barrels of oil and about 436.2 thousand cubic meters of natural gas. For a country that, according to specialists, has practically exhausted the reserves of natural energy resources, the find can be considered a great achievement.
Recall that earlier the world’s largest oil company Saudi Aramco expressed its intention to explore natural gas and oil deposits on the Pakistani shelf in the Arabian Sea.
